Lac
de Saint Cassien
Fish
the most famous lake in France with Angling
International
Cassien is situated in the South of France, not far from Nice and Cannes. Made famous in the mid 1980's by captures such as Kevin Ellis's 76lb monster, the lake has continued to produce huge carp for the last two decades.
Our base by the lake means that we can offer trips summer and winter, with accomodation provided during the summertime when there is no night fishing at the venue.
Home to carp over 70lb, Cassien continues to draw anglers from all over Europe. If you want to experience the fishing on one of the worlds most impressive venues then look no further.
2007
- Big Fish Summer
The
summer of 2007 has been our best yet down at Cassien. The younger fish
are coming through at low to upper thirties now, and the big ones just
seem to keep on getting bigger. We have had a string of big fish this
summer, including a 75lb monster, 3 60's, 4 50's, and of course
some 40's just for good measure! Here are some of the photos
from this year...
