White Tips. Top Weight 61lb 8oz One of the three cracking dark brown mirrors that live in Heron, White Tips is distinctive because of the white tips to the top and bottom lobes of its tail.
The Chestnut. Top Weight 64lb. One of the most sought after fish in on the complex, The Chestnut is another dark brown fish that lives in Heron and is slightly bigger than White Tips.
Shoulders. Top Weight 83lb 11oz. Shoulders is a monster of a carp with a massive pair of shoulders from which it gets its name. The sheer frame of this fish is impressive and to see it on the bank is something else.
Jo\'s Fish. Top Weight 52lb. Landed for the first time over 50lb by Lee Merritt this spring, the Heron Lake mirror known as Jo\'s fish looks to be another with lots of potential to push towards the 60lb mark.
Un-named Mirror. Top Weight 62lb 5oz. Another new addition to the Abbey \'Big Uns\' page is this fantastic Heron Lake mirror called \'The Unknown\'. A real stunner that has just gone 60lb for the first time,
Woody. Top Weight 53lb. This cracker which is known as \"Woody\" lives in Heron lake and is one of the new \"growers\" having consistently put on 3-4lbs a year.
The Grey Lady. Top Weight 59lb. Out recently at an all time high of 59lbs, the Grey Lady is without doubt one of the most sought after fish in the Abbey Lakes complex.
Bruno. Top Weight 65lb 12oz. The much sought after Bruno is another Heron fish on the up and has shown steady growth over the last few years.
Cheeky. Top Weight 59lb. A plain fish for Abbey lakes this cracker is quite distinct because it has no scales and is quite pale. One large scale on it’s left shoulder gives it away and it got its name from the fact that it has chubby cheeks.
The Scaley Parrot. Top Weight 59lb. This up-and-coming Fox Lake mirror has surprised us all this year and looks to have plenty of potential. Previously seen at upper forties, the parrot has been out recently at a claimed 59lb 4oz. Definitely one to w
Humpy. Top Weight 69lb 12oz. It’s very clear why this awesome looking fish got it’s name - just look at that Hump. Similar to Heron Lakes \'Shoulders\' but has less scales and is distinguishable by its bigger hump.
Single Scale. Top Weight 53lb. Heron Lake has produced a number of new 50lb carp in 2011 and Single Scale is so impressive that we just had to add it to the \'big \'uns\' page. The fish has come through from literally nowhere and is definitely one to wa
