The
Abbey Challenge Returns
Every
year we have a match on Abbey Lakes for the marshalls who help
out in the BCAC. The winner is the person with the biggest fish
at the end of the match, and for the second year in a row Dave
Vaughan took the trophy. This was his winning fish, and it went
51lb 12 oz. Dave backed up the fish with a forty and a thirty
on the same day! Top angling that man.

Incredible
Cassien Result
On
the last trip of the summer Richard Lee made history at Cassien
by bagging the biggest fish to a UK angler for more than 20
years at the venue. Richard had to work hard for the fish after
the bream proved troublesome during the week, and was forced
to rebait in the boat several times in the night. After another
sleepless one, this fish, known as Timothy, picked up the bait
at about 3.30am and an elated Rich slipped the net under the
75lb monster. Solar Club mix was the successful bait.
Congratulations
Richard on your capture, see you out there next year!

Summertime Action
We've had a fantastic
time out at Cassien this summer, with loads of big fish falling
to the rods of the lads on our trips. One of the best is this
61lb 4oz mirror for Steve Jones. Steve caught the fish from a
swim in the West Arm on a short evening session that also produced
a 15, 21, 31 and a 57lb 8oz mirror! Oh yes, and a small catfish!
Top angling Steve. Steve's mate Mark also got in on the action
and bagged a new pb 30lb + common. |

Morocco
hits the headlines
Angling International's
Alex Perrin with a 37+ common, part of a 22 fish catch during
the opening week of the season this year.
The week produced fish
to 53 1/2lb, and with fish to over 60lb caught earlier in the
year this place is now THE place to go.
We have a few spaces
left during the productive September - December period later this
year, so if you want to experience carp fishing in the wilds of
the Atlas mountains give us a call. |

More
Moroccan Monsters
Keith Turner is a regular
on our more adventurous trips, and his first Moroccan foray led
to the capture of this fantastic common - all 48 1/2lb of it.
Keith fished maize hookbaits to the end of a bar at about 100
yards and hooked the fish in the early hours of the morning.
Maize is the giong bait
out at Bin El Ouidane at the moment, so take a healthy supply
of pop-up corn and yellow foam for hookbaits. |

Abbey
Lakes 60
Fox Lake on the Abbey
complex continues to produce huge fish. This one weighed in at
just over 60 1/2lb, and came from peg 12 on the incredible venue.
Phone us now to book
on to the complex, for weekend breaks or week long trips, and
remember Abbey Lakes are only two hours from Calais. |

Abbey
Result
Another Abbey Lakes
stunner from earlier this year. This one also nudged the 60lb
barrier, proving that Abbey is now fully establishing itself as
a premier big fish venue in France. |
