As newly appointed manager at Angling International it is a pleasure to introduce our portfolio of venues to you.

You will notice some changes, and this is because we have to keep up with the demands of the traveling carp angler. From the best French day ticket venues to the latest new discoveries, we pride ourselves in offering what we believe are the best carping holidays out there, and whether it’s your first trip abroad or your 20th, we have the perfect place for you to go. Alex Perrin

I first went to France in 1989 in a Ford escort as a teenager in search of carp adventures. By 1992 I thought I knew a fair bit about continental carp angling and together with Simon Crow we set up our first venture into angling holidays. Called “Vacances pour la Carpiste en France” (we thought a French name sounded good) we hardly set the world alight but our continental contacts and experiences since those early footsteps meant that when Angling International was set up officially in 1999 we already had a wealth of experience. I’d go as far as to say our team at Angling International is right at the sharp end of developing new destinations. pioneering new waters, and generally offering some pretty damn fine angling experiences.

2007 is a particularly exciting year for us as it sees Alex Perrin join the team as the new man in charge. Alex has been a guide for us for some time now and has shown that not only can he catch fish and help others to do likewise, he also understands from the sharp end what a customer needs from their angling holidays. After 8 intense years of arranging other peoples holidays I feel I need to step back and enjoy one myself. Of course it will be with Angling International, and with Alex well and truly at the helm both you and I can be assured that the adventures offered by Angling International will just get better and better.

From short weekend breaks to France, through to two week sessions in the wilds of Romania we have it all; all you have to do is decide where to go! Alex Perrin Feature writer, angling guide, and manager at Angling International. Alex was based at Cassien last summer. Who better to tell us all about the perfect holiday destination. Steve Briggs Should need no introduction. Reigning World Champion and twice International Carp angler of the year. Steve is the oracle on foreign carping, and here he gives us the insight on Morocco. Rob Hughes Rob has been fishing the continent and beyond for over 15 years, as well as winning the first ever F. I. P.S. ratified World Carp Cup with Simon Crow at Fishabil in 1996. He is also the founder of Angling International. Jason Colenso Jason is a director at Angling International, and very experienced on the big European venues. In the Raduta section he describes the fishing at the awesome Romanian water. Jon ‘Shoes’ Jones Jon has travelled far and wide in both an angling and a cameraman capacity, his work includes ‘The Carp Show’, and more recently the Extreme Carp series on Sky Sports Jon Finch Jon is also a director, and runs Bankside Tackle. One of the countries finest day ticket specialists, he is the perfect angler to give us the rundown on Abbey Lakes in France.
